What are the responsibilities and job description for the SWIM INSTRUCTORS (PART TIME AND FULL TIME) position at LowCountry Swim School?
LowCountry Swim School is looking for you! We are looking for highly trained and qualified Swim Instructors/ Swim Assistants/ Special Needs Instructors/Ocean and Beach Swim Instructors with Lifeguard background. Must have some Aquatic Background but will train. Must be able to be a good swimmer. We pay for all certifications!
Swim Instructors- Must be at least 18 years and have some aquatic background.
Swim Assistants- Must be 15 years old and have reliable transportation.
Special Needs Instructors- Must have background of working with Special Needs.
Ocean and Beach Instructors- Great if you have been a lifeguard and have a background.
Responsibilties- As a Swimming Instructor/Special Needs and Ocean and Beach Instructors you must create a fun-enriched environment for all ages. You will teach private and group swim lessons to all ages and skill levels. Be able to create a fun positive learning environment. Keep track of your students, notes, mileage and simply have fun teaching student water safety skills.
As a Swim Assisant- This the best job ever! Help the instructors to keep students safe, have fun!
Qualifications:
- Swim Instructors/Ocean and Beach Instructors/Special Needs Instructor must be at least 18 years and have 1 year experience of Teaching, Lifeguarding, Swim Team. Must have CPR and First Aid certification required or once held & willing to renew within 2 weeks of hiring.
- Lifeguard training preferred
- Water Safety Instructor certification is not required but is a plus
