Join Our Radiology Team
We are seeking a part-time Radiologic Technologist to join our team at our Lake City location.
Your Role: As a critical member of our clinic team, you will work directly with patients, ensuring an exceptional experience by performing all radiology services.
You will also assist in a medical assistant capacity during periods of high patient volume with no immediate x-ray needs. Your collaboration with our providers, clinical staff, front desk staff, and the following duties is essential:
- Perform accurate X-rays as ordered by the provider while practicing radiation safety precautions.
- Prepare and transmit images to the radiologist for review.
- Room patients, including taking and recording vital signs and patient history.
- Assist patients and providers as needed with walking, transfers, specimen collection, exam prep, etc.
- Maintain quality assurance of the radiology equipment and complete quality control logs.
- Comply with regulatory requirements (OSHA, CLIA, Department of Health).
- Other duties as assigned.
