Our kids’ pirate cruise is a magical family adventure, featuring interactive storytelling, treasure hunts, and pirate-themed fun on the waters of Hilton Head Island. We’re seeking an organized and friendly individual to manage reservations and provide a warm welcome as the first point of contact for our guests.
Job Description: As a Reservationist and Check-In specialist, you’ll ensure a seamless experience for families booking and arriving for their pirate adventure. From managing reservations to greeting guests and preparing them for their voyage, your role is vital to creating a positive first impression.
Responsibilities:
- Manage phone, email, and online reservations, ensuring accuracy and clear communication with guests.
- Greet families and assist with the check-in process, providing an enthusiastic and welcoming introduction to their pirate experience.
- Answer guest questions about the cruise, including schedules, pricing, and safety guidelines.
- Organize waivers, payment processing, and other administrative tasks related to the cruise.
- Provide families with boarding instructions and distribute any necessary materials or accessories (e.g., pirate gear, tickets).
- Collaborate with the pirate crew to ensure smooth transitions between check-in and boarding.
- Help maintain a clean, organized check-in area and ensure all materials are stocked and ready.
- Sell Merchandise and accurately handle the cash drawer.
Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage reservations efficiently.
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or administrative roles is preferred but not required.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, family-oriented environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
