We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Reservationist to join our team at Lowcountry Watersports, a fast-paced and thriving watersports company. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth operations and exceptional customer service for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Service & Reservations:
- Handle a high volume of customer inquiries and bookings via phone, email, text, and in-person interactions.
- Assist customers with selecting and reserving appropriate watersports activities based on their preferences and needs.
- Provide accurate information about activities, pricing, schedules, and policies.
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor in all customer interactions.
2. Call Management:
- Answer and manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls efficiently.
- Handle multiple inquiries simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
3. Scheduling & Coordination:
- Manage and update daily schedules for activities and rentals to ensure operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with team members to confirm reservations and equipment availability.
4. Inventory Management:
- Stock, organize, and maintain inventory for merchandise located in the check in office.
- Perform routine checks to ensure all items are in good condition and report any shortages or damages.
5. Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with other team members to provide seamless service to customers.
- Communicate effectively with the operations team regarding schedule changes or customer requests.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a fast-paced customer service or reservationist role.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) across various channels (phone, email, text, in person).
- Strong multitasking skills and the ability to stay organized under pressure.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in reservation software and email platforms.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as required by business needs.
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience in the watersports, hospitality, or tourism industry.
- Familiarity with inventory management and scheduling tools.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.
