What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Manager position at Lowcountry Women's Specialists?
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports.
· Accountable for day-to-day clinical operations, quality of care, patient safety, and risk management to ensure optimal patient care is delivered.
· Ensures the effective delivery of competent, compassionate, and efficient care by monitoring and evaluating the patient care process and outcomes in the clinic.
· Recruits and retains competent, compassionate staff while monitoring performance standards and releasing staff members when necessary.
· Oversee training and development of staff to include cross training to ensure that staff is showing an exceptional degree of clinical competency in each area.
· Develop and maintain clinical manuals detailing specifics for all providers and procedures that are used for training and reference.
· Supervise, provide leadership and direction for all clinical staff being the direct supervisor of medical assistants, scribes, sonographers and the mammogram department.
· Approve and manage requested time off punctually.
· Ensure that both offices are clinically staffed appropriately. Make sure schedules are dispersed in a timely manner for all clinical departments.
· Arrange, participate in and document regular clinical meetings.
· Maintain constant and open communication with fellow managers and physicians with any suggestions, concerns or changes.
· Promotes a work environment that demonstrates caring by accessibility of safe equipment and adequate supplies in an efficiently arranged physical setting.
· Order supplies for the clinical floor and maintain par levels for both locations, including medications and crash cart supplies.
· Arrange for routine equipment servicing and prompt repairs when needed.
· Meet with vendors and assess new products or changes to clinical systems.
· Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures.
· Develop, monitor and enforce medical regulatory requirements and programs (Infection control, CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, etc.).
· Assist on the floor with patients as needed.
· Promote a healthy work environment in the clinic by providing excellent communication with staff, implement work and personal boundaries, and offer support to staff and other departments.
· Provide support to the providers when they are in both offices and hospital settings.
· Troubleshoot clinical problems as they arise in a way that compliments the mission of the practice.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
· RN degree from a two or four-year college or university required.
· Experience in the OB/GYN field.
· Motivated, focused, self-disciplined, and able to recognize areas that need assistance and takes initiative to improve or assist even in difficult or challenging situations.
· Computer-working knowledge of Windows, Outlook, and Athena is helpful.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
