Lowe Legal Group PC LLO is a boutique business law firm that provides in-house legal counsel, corporate and transaction legal counsel for start-ups and small to mid-size businesses, complex contract review and negotiations for physicians and c-suite executives, and commercial real estate services for owners, tenants, developers, and brokers.
Job Offering : At this time, we are looking to hire a corporate paralegal who has at least five (5) years' experience working in a law firm. This is an excellent opportunity, with competitive pay, for someone who enjoys corporate paralegal work, but wants a break from the corporate environment and prefers to work in the peace and quiet of their own home. There is availability for either part-time work or full-time work. Scheduled days and hours can be flexible, but in general hours worked will fall on a business day and will occur sometime between 9 am and 6 pm. The paralegal must reside within 100 miles of Omaha, Sioux Falls, or Des Moines.
The qualified corporate paralegal will have at least 5 years recent experience working as a paralegal and can work independently, problem solve, and complete tasks from start to finish with minimal supervision or direction. He or she will have excellent attention to detail and proof-reading skills and will be responsible for handling paralegal matters related to entity and corporate formation, annual filings, and record management. He or she will also be responsible for contract review and drafting, administrative filings, calendaring, law firm billing, email and document management, and general administrative tasks. Trademark experience is a plus. All candidates will be asked to provide a resume and cover letter. All offers will be contingent upon a reference check and all candidates will be asked to submit to a background check.
Qualifications
- Required : 5 years' experience as a paralegal
- Required : At least 2 years of filing business entities and managing corporate records
- Required : At least 2 years of law case management software, such as Clio, Practice Master, MyCase, etc.
- Required : Enjoys working from home and ready for a break from a traditional law office
- Preferred : Associate Degree, Bachelor Degree, or Paralegal Certificate
- Preferred : Trademark filing or experience

Expected hours : 18 to 25 hours if part-time; 32 to 40 hours if full-time
