Full Time - Delivery Coordinator - Day (Open)

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Delivery Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient delivery of products to customers while maintaining high standards of customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in route driving, warehouse operations, and a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Duties

• Coordinate and oversee the delivery schedule to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Load and unload products using appropriate equipment, including pallet jacks.
• Drive delivery vehicles, including vans and manual transmission vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding delivery times and any potential issues.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including inventory counts and customer signatures.
• Assist in warehouse operations as needed, ensuring a clean and organized work environment.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.

Requirements

• Previous experience in delivery driving or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks associated with loading and unloading products.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is a plus.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving manual transmission vehicles is advantageous.
• Proficient in operating pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment.
• Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage time effectively.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
