As a key member of our merchandising service team, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of live plant merchandising resets, service responsibilities, and maintenance activities in our garden center.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service by delivering quality customer interactions while maintaining a clean, safe, and stocked store environment.
- Build strong relationships with vendors by providing direction and ensuring merchandise resets meet Lowe's specifications.
- Collaborate with the merchandising service team and manager to communicate project priorities, schedule, and needs.
- Engage with customers to understand their needs, assist in locating and demonstrating products, and respond to questions promptly.
- Ensure signage, pricing information, and displays are accurate and visually appealing.
- Identify and address any quality, quantity, or additional needs issues with Outside Garden Supervisor and MSM.
- Maintain a high level of communication and partnership with MSM and red vest associates.
- Adjust fixtures, rotate stock, and display products using power equipment according to service expectations and processes.
- Review, complete, and enter completion details for assigned service and maintenance tasks.
- Ensure all displays are safe and in working order, repaired or replaced as needed.
Requirements:
- Less than 1 year 6 months of live nursery experience or general merchandising experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED and less than 1 year 6 months of Lowe's sales floor experience.
- 6 months of experience performing product merchandising tasks, including reading planograms and setting up displays.
- Less than 1 year 3 months of experience operating power equipment, such as lifts, order pickers, and similar equipment.
