Fulfillment Associate: Delivering Exceptional Customer Service
About This Role
We are seeking a Fulfillment Associate to join our team at Lowe's. As a key member of our store staff, you will be responsible for delivering quality customer service while maintaining a clean, safe, and stocked store environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Be friendly and professional in all interactions with customers and colleagues, responding promptly to their needs.
- Merchandise Management: Ensure that merchandise is accurately accounted for, in good condition, and delivered to customers on time.
- Safety First: Pull merchandise safely for loading onto delivery trucks and assist customers and staff in moving merchandise safely.
Key Requirements
- Availability: Be available to work morning, afternoon, and evening shifts any day of the week.
- Physical Demands: Have the physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.
- Lifting Ability: Minimally able to lift 25 pounds without assistance; may lift over 25 pounds with or without assistance.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Retail Experience: 6 months of retail experience, preferably in a customer service or product fulfillment role at a home improvement or hardware retailer.
- Industry Knowledge: 6 months of experience in inspecting, carrying, loading, and unloading product or material in or out of vehicles in any industry.
Compensation
$15.50 - $16.15 per hour, starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
