Position: Substitute Teacher (Grades 7-12) Job Type: On-Call/Per Diem Lowell Catholic is currently seeking dynamic and flexible substitute teachers for our 7-12 division. This on-call position offers the opportunity to step in for full-time faculty and assist in maintaining a productive and engaging classroom environment. Ideal candidates will be passionate about education, have a strong work ethic, and be committed to supporting students’ academic and personal development. Responsibilities: Implement lesson plans provided by the absent teacher. Maintain a positive and supportive classroom environment. Manage classroom behavior and ensure students stay on task. Provide assistance and support to students as needed. Foster student participation and engagement in class activities. Communicate effectively with students, staff, and administration. Qualifications: Previous teaching experience or a background in education preferred. Strong communication and classroom management skills. Ability to adapt to varying classroom environments and teaching methods. A commitment to the values and mission of Catholic education. Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
