What You’ll Be Doing
- Creating Positive Employee Experiences: As the HR Generalist, you’ll serve as a key point of contact for employee concerns, providing professional and timely support. You’ll mediate and resolve workplace conflicts, ensuring policies are applied consistently while fostering a positive work culture.
- Ensuring Compliance and Managing Credentialing: You’ll maintain compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, as well as healthcare regulations like HIPAA and OSHA. You’ll also ensure employee records, certifications, and credentials remain up to date and assist with audits as needed.
- Facilitating Training and Employee Engagement: You’ll coordinate leadership training programs, oversee employee recognition and wellness initiatives, and collaborate with leadership to develop action plans based on employee engagement feedback.
- Supporting Performance Management: You’ll work closely with managers to provide guidance on performance evaluations, goal setting, and performance improvement plans, ensuring a structured and supportive approach to employee development.
- Handling Workers’ Compensation and HR Projects: You’ll manage workers’ compensation claims, act as a liaison with insurance providers, and lead HR projects such as benefit open enrollment, onboarding enhancements, and compliance-driven initiatives.
- HR Reporting and Operational Support: You’ll generate HR reports, track key metrics, and ensure smooth operations by maintaining accurate records and supporting various HR functions.
What We’re Looking For
- HR Expertise: A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience). PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
- Relevant Experience: At least 2-3 years of HR experience, ideally in a healthcare or medical setting. Experience with training delivery and public speaking is preferred.
- Strong Communication & Problem-Solving Skills: You can navigate employee relations with professionalism, mediate conflicts effectively, and communicate policies clearly.
- Attention to Detail & Organization: You thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities, keeping records accurate, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Collaborative & Adaptable: You enjoy working closely with leadership, employees, and HR team members to provide support and solutions that drive engagement and efficiency.
