At LCRA, we seek a driven Mechanical Engineering Associate II to join our team! This is an opportunity to apply your engineering background, knowledge, and skills at the Fayette Power Plant. As a power plant engineering associate, you would provide pivotal functions to support the reliable electricity supply to the people of central Texas. You will be trusted to:

- Under limited supervision of a licensed professional engineer, perform a variety of progressively responsible engineering assignments involving engineering principles. \t
- Complete engineering projects, design work,, and draft specifications involving adaptations and modifications to Power Plant systems, equipment, materials, and procedures. \t
- Conduct and analyze tests and diagnoses and evaluate equipment performance for Power Plants. May direct the work of craftsmen or technicians. May assist less experienced engineers or others. \t
- Prepare reports, operating instructions, and project outlines in connection with engineering assignments. Follows appropriate business procedures. Applies appropriate project management techniques for the successful development and execution of projects to sustain and improve plant performance.

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, engineering physics, biosystems engineering, mathematical science, physical science, or related science plus one or more years of post-Bachelors engineering experience relating to the area of engineering specialization required to perform the job. \t
