Your role will directly support our asset unitization process that ensures LCRA meets it financial and regulatory goals. *** This is a hybrid position, working in one of our Austin, TX offices a minimum of 2 days a week with the option to work 3 days remotely. ***
You will be trusted to:
- Read and interpret project charters, budget estimates, engineering drawings, and construction documents to identify and resolve new asset values and ownership.
- Perform office research related to asset listings, historical engineering drawings, equipment databases, microfilm, inventory, electronic document management system (EDMS) records to identify removed assets.
- Field research as required from time to time may involve various physical activities. Prepare fixed capital unit (FCU) lists.
- Provide quality assurance and quality control role related to engineering documents and processes.
- Prepare sophisticated reports related to projects, work plans, equipment, and assets.
*** This is not a CAD drafting position. It is reviewing/interpreting drawings and technical documents prepared by others***
You qualify with:
- Three or more years of experience interpreting technical drawings/documents and performing technical analysis; drafting using computer-aided design software, performing engineering design or other relevant experience. A degree in computer-aided design, engineering technology or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
- Driver's license if traveling independently to various locations (substations, power plants, water systems, etc.)
