- Seeds, mows, irrigates, sweeps, fertilizes, top dresses, edges and maintains lawns
- Plants, transplants, trims, and waters plants, trees, flowers and shrubs
- Uses a variety of manual tools and equipment, such as rakes, hand edger's, loppers, shovels, wheelbarrows, weeding forks, hoes, and pruning shearsÂ
- Other duties as assigned
- Valid driver's license
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Experienced in maintenance / custodial field
- Previous experience or training involving grounds maintenance, gardening, plant care, cultivation, and landscape installationÂ

- Loading and unloading vehicle to transport grounds maintenance supplies (seasonal)
- Pushing the custodial cart approx. 40 lbs fully loaded
- Bending over
- Bending over picking up and moving debris
- Picking up mats
- Emptying trash and lawn debris
- Use a variety of manual tools and equipment, such as rakes, hand edger's, loppers, shovels, wheelbarrows, weeding forks, hoes, pruning shears and pesticide sprayers
- Grounds keeping: mowing the grass, weed whacking, pulling weeds, hedge trimmingÂ
