What are the responsibilities and job description for the Night Awake Aide, Per Diem position at Lower Eastside Service Center?
DescriptionBASIC FUNCTION : Supervises and accounts for nightly activities of the clients within a residential treatment program.MAJOR DUTIES :
- Provides night supervision for the clients and be responsible for the clients' night time activities.
- Serves as a positive role model.
- Maintains a daily log on the activities.
- Participates as a team member in at least one staff meeting per month.
- Fills in for other night awake aides who are on leave.RequirementsQUALIFICATION - EDUCATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE :
- High School Diploma, GED and / or a satisfactory equivalent combination of education and / or training and experience.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to conduct oneself in a professional manner.
- CPR and Narcan Training Preferred
- Takes charge of clients in a sensitive manner, as not to interfere or prohibit the meaningful progress of the clients
