- The cardiovascular technologist is a registered or eligible professional primarily specializing in the utilization of non-invasive cardio vascular procedures as necessary, and performs under the direct supervision of cardiologists.
- Operates Echocardiogram equipment, assists with stress testing, and perform EKG.
- Prepares written documentation as required by the profession and the department. .
- Epiphany system used to process EKGs.

Which Qualifications Do You Need? In order to set you up for success, you need the basics of…
- Graduate from an accredited school of cardiovascular technology with a degree or registry in an allied health field.
- At least 2 years experience in Cardiology.
- Must be proficient in performing Echocardiograms and able to work independently.
- Registered in CCI or ARDMS.
- ACLS and BLS required.
