As an Ultrasound Tech at Lower Keys Medical Center (LKMC) you’ll play a vital role in doing what you do best - providing quality care to our patients. Requirements:
- Requires a two (2) year allied health degree.
- Must be licensed in the state of Florida.
- Successful completion of an approved one (1) year program in Ultrasound Technology.
- Must have registration with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
- AHA/ARC Basic Life Support certification is required.
- Two (2) years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist is also required.
About the job:
- Performing diagnostic sonographic examinations utilizing ultrasonic equipment to locate, evaluate, and record critical functional, pathological, and anatomical data.
- Scheduling and coordinating tests, recording test results, and preparing and maintaining operational logs.
- Calibrates and maintains equipment and orders supplies when needed.
- Must be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within this field.
