Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide support to medical professionals in various clinical settings, ensuring efficient patient care and satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare providers in patient examinations and procedures
- Obtain and record patient vital signs and medical history
- Administer injections, medications, and perform routine laboratory tests
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Schedule patient appointments and assist with patient check-in/out
- Maintain medical supplies and equipment
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety procedures
Perform occupational testing such as drug screens, Audiograms, Vision Screening, Pulmonary Function Testing (experience not required- will train)
Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
- Anatomy knowledge
- Basic life support (BLS) certification
- Proficiency in medical-surgical procedures
- Knowledge of medical administrative support tasks
- Experience in Urgent Care setting
- Strong patient service orientation
