Join Our Team as a Loan Officer Assistant-Partner!
A local branch in El Paso, Texas is looking for a Loan Officer Assistant to join the team. Are you a well-spoken, team-oriented professional ready to take your career to the next level? We’re looking for a dedicated Loan Officer Assistant-Partner to join our dynamic team and help us provide 5-star service to our clients!
What you'll do:
- Assist buyer through closing by answering questions, concerns and providing customer service to all parties in the transaction
- Run cash to close and payment scenarios
- Review and send lock pricing to Loan Officers
- Advise buyers of any additional, updated or missing documents needed to proceed
- Prepare the loan for setup milestone
- Order appraisals and FHA Case numbers
- Develop rapport and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external clients
- Collaborate with Loan Officers and all management teams to deliver a financial product that best suits the client’s financial profile
- Other duties or special projects as assigned
Who you are:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 or more years of experience in the mortgage industry
- Exceptional Communication Skills: You must be articulate and able to convey information clearly to clients and partners.
- Team Player: Collaborate effectively with our loan officers and support staff to ensure a seamless process.
- Spanish Speaker: While not required, being bilingual is a significant plus!
- Licensed in Texas: You should be licensed in Texas and willing to obtain additional licenses as needed.
- Processing Background: Experience in loan processing is highly desirable. You should know what to ask for and be able to review documents thoroughly. Run AUS on all files assist in structuring loan for approval.
- Weekend Availability: Willingness to cover weekend applications as needed is essential.
- Knowledgeable in Loan Programs: Familiarity with VA loans, DPA programs, FHA, and a willingness to learn about other programs is a must.
- 5-Star Service Commitment: We pride ourselves on excellent customer service, and we need someone who shares this commitment.
- Active Listener: Being a great listener is key to understanding client needs and building relationships.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfort with technology, including AI and CRM management, is essential. Ability to Create Buyer presentations, marketing fliers and other training items.
- Organized and Detail-Oriented: You must have a great follow-up system and be highly organized to keep everything on track.
- Relationship Builder: You will build relationships with partners, builder reps, and Realtor partners to enhance our network.
- Self-Motivated and Proactive: You should be proactive in keeping clients engaged and moving through the loan process.
- Note: We are open to someone who is newly licensed with no prior experience as a Loan Officer or Loan Officer Assistant IF you have previous experience in processing or underwriting.
