Position
As our Director of Marketing, you’ll take ownership of the firm’s marketing function, leading both strategy and execution. This role is ideal for a self-motivated professional who is equally comfortable thinking big and handling the day-to-day details. You will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to strengthen brand presence, support client development, and position LPA for continued growth in commercial real estate valuation. You’ll take over marketing efforts with excellent momentum; online presence has expanded an average of 194% per year for the past three years.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute continuation of in place marketing efforts
- Engage and oversee external vendors or freelancers as needed (e.g., design, web development, print, SEO, PR)
- Drive business development efforts by identifying growth opportunities, supporting proposals, and maintaining strong client and industry relationships
- Manage all aspects of marketing execution, including content creation, digital campaigns, social media, email marketing, and website updates
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across all platforms and materials
- Track marketing performance, analyze data, and provide insights to inform decision-making
- Collaborate with leadership, appraisers, and operations to ensure alignment across departments
- Coordinate with LPA Research to create enterprise-level market reports and analyses that enhance the organization as a true thought leader in the space
Qualifications
- 5 years of progressive marketing experience, preferably in the commercial real estate industry
- Demonstrated success in both strategic marketing and hands-on execution
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a focus on tact and professionalism
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams while managing independent responsibilities
- Comfortable managing vendors and creative partners
- Some expertise and experience in graphic design a plus
- Desire to lead, as long-term plan is to create a full Marketing Team
- Proficiency with marketing platforms and tools (CRM, CMS, analytics, design tools, etc.)
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, business, or a related field.
