Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Produce Associate to join our Lowes Foods team. As a key member of our produce team, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience through our produce department activities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent guest service by greeting and interacting with all customers.
- Prepare produce for display on the sales floor to meet established standards.
- Stock, price, rotate, and place product on produce displays according to established guidelines.
- Maintain the freshness and quality of produce products for sale.
- Assist with unloading product upon delivery and provide guest service with product knowledge, preparation, and product weighing.
- Maintain sanitation standards in the backroom, cooler, and sales area.
- Communicate guest requests to management and report temperature breakdowns.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Able to work well with others.
- Physically able to lift 50 lbs regularly and 25 lbs constantly.
- Possess effective communication and guest service skills.
- Able to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
