We are seeking a Store Clerk - Deli Department to join our team at Lowes Foods. This role is responsible for providing exceptional guest service and maintaining the overall appearance and cleanliness of our deli department.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare product for sale by frying, cutting, slicing, weighing, and pricing items.
Maintain product levels, quality, and freshness in the cooler, freezer, prep area, and sales area.
Maintain sanitation standards throughout the deli department.
Communicate with management regarding guest requests and temperature breakdowns.
Keep supply areas neat, clean, and tidy at all times.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Announce specials and sale information on the PA system.
Assist with product receiving and storage.
Essential Qualifications:
A friendly, outgoing personality.
The ability to work well with others.
The ability to lift 25 lbs consistently and 50 lbs occasionally.
The ability to read and understand information and direction.
Effective communication, guest service, and selling skills.
Must be at least 18 years old.
The ability to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time.
