As a Seasonal Delivery Driver at Lowes, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries of packages, food, or retail items to our customers during peak demand periods.
Job Summary:
Our ideal candidate is a responsible and motivated individual who can safely operate a vehicle to deliver goods to customers in a timely manner. You will be required to load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate a delivery vehicle, follow assigned routes and time schedules, and communicate with dispatchers, customers, and supervisors efficiently.
Main Responsibilities:
- Safely transport packages, food, or retail items to customers
- Load, unload, and prepare delivery vehicles
- FOLLOW assigned routes and time schedules
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and supervisors
- Ensure packages are delivered intact and to the correct recipients
- Provide exceptional customer service and address inquiries as needed
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to operate GPS devices and follow driving directions
- MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT AND MOVE PACKAGES UP TO 50 LBS
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Must be willing to work during peak seasons, including weekends and holidays
