Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive. You will manage reservations, greet guests, and coordinate seating arrangements to create a pleasant dining experience.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a warm and friendly atmosphere.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow.
- Provide information about the menu, specials, and restaurant policies to guests.
- Assist with guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service operations.
- Utilize Aloha POS or other point-of-sale systems for managing reservations and guest information.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality.
- Excellent phone etiquette for handling reservations and inquiries.
- Familiarity with food service operations is preferred.
- Experience with Aloha POS or similar systems is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
