We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Solar Installer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation of solar energy systems on residential properties. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, construction practices, and safety protocols. As a Solar Installer, you will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure that solar installations are completed efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Install solar panels and related equipment on rooftops and ground-mounted systems.
- Read and interpret schematics to ensure proper installation of electrical components.
- Perform high voltage and low voltage wiring tasks in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Conduct site assessments to determine the best installation practices.
- Ensure all installations meet safety standards and regulations.
- Operate forklifts and other equipment as necessary for transporting materials on construction sites.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot any issues that arise during the installation process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites.
Skills
- Lift over 50 pounds
- Familiarity with using measuring tapes
- Willingness to climb to the top of buildings.
- Ability to read and understand technical schematics.
- Saftey awerness.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 70 – 90 per week
