Position Summary
As a Warehouse/Parts Runner, you’ll play a crucial role in keeping our operations running smoothly. You will be responsible for maintaining an organized warehouse, ensuring that our field teams have the right equipment and materials on time, and delivering parts and tools to job sites as needed. If you enjoy a hands-on role that supports a hardworking team, this job is for you!
Key Responsibilities
- Warehouse Management: Keep inventory organized, maintain accurate stock levels, and ensure the warehouse remains clean and efficient.
- Parts Running: Pick up and deliver parts, tools, and materials to technicians at job sites to keep projects moving without delays.
- Team Support: Assist with loading and unloading trucks, organizing materials for daily jobs, and restocking essential supplies.
- Communication: Stay in contact with dispatch, technicians, and management to ensure all deliveries and inventory needs are met.
- Equipment Handling: Safely handle, load, and transport materials and tools in company vehicles.
- Quality & Safety: Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
What You Bring
Experience & Skills:
· Prior experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or delivery driving preferred.
· Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
· Excellent communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with technicians, suppliers, and office staff.
· Ability to safely load, unload, and transport equipment and materials up to 100 lbs.
· Familiarity with basic hand tools, plumbing/HVAC parts, and material handling preferred.
· Proficiency in using inventory tracking systems, mobile apps, or basic Microsoft Office tools is a plus.
· Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment.
· Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, particularly when handling urgent deliveries or inventory issues.
· Willingness to work in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
· Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to operate company vehicles safely.
Educational Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
