Job Description
As a Licensed Practical Nurse with Loyal Source, you will provide skilled nursing care to patients in various settings. This role involves working in Acute Care, Primary Care, and Specialty Clinics in Charleston and VA Clinics (CBOCs). You will be responsible for administering medications as permitted by approved local facility policies and procedures. Additionally, you will observe and document patient responses to medication, reporting any noted changes in their condition to RNs or MDs/DOs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must possess active, current registration as a professional nurse in a State, District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States. A graduate of a state-approved school of practical/vocational nursing is also required. Furthermore, you should have a minimum of 2 years of current experience in Med/Surgical, Long Term Care, Psychiatric/Mental Health, or Primary Care. Type of experience should be described on your resume. Lastly, AHA BLS certification is necessary.
