Responsibilities
This LPN role entails providing skilled nursing care to adult psychiatric, medical, and geriatric patients in various settings. Key responsibilities include preparing, administering, and documenting medication actions; observing patient responses; and reporting any noted changes in condition to RNs or MDs/DOs. You will work independently and dependently under guidance from the Nurse Manager/designee, utilizing your knowledge and skill to serve as a responsible member of the nursing team. Interactions with patients, family members, professionals, and supportive personnel require excellent customer service standards. Due to the nature of the job, you may be required to work with COVID-19 positive patients.
Requirements
For this position, you must hold active, current registration as a professional nurse in a State, District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States. Graduation from a state-approved school of practical/vocational nursing is mandatory. Two years of recent experience (within the last six months) in Med/Surgical, Long Term Care, Psychiatric/Mental Health, or Primary Care is required, with type of experience described on your resume. AHA BLS certification is essential.
