Job Summary:
Loyal Source Government Services is looking for LPNs to work at the VAMC in Beaufort, SC.
LPNs will provide skilled nursing care to patients in Acute Care, Primary Care and Specialty Clinics in Charleston and VA Clinics (CBOC's).
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in various settings, including Acute Care, Primary Care and Specialty Clinics.
- Administer medications as permitted by approved local facility policies and procedures, observing and documenting patient response.
- Report any noted change in patient condition to RN or MD/DO.
- Serve as a responsible member of the nursing team and interact appropriately with patients, family members, professional personnel, and other supportive individuals involved in patient care.
Requirements
- Active, current registration as a professional nurse in a State, District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
- Graduate of a state-approved school of practical/vocational nursing.
- Minimum of 2 years current experience in Med/Surgical, Long Term Care, Psychiatric/Mental Health, or Primary Care, with type of experience described on resume.
- AHA BLS certification.
