As a Sterile Supply Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that medical instruments and equipment are properly decontaminated, cleaned, and sterilized to meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
The ideal candidate will have thorough knowledge of medical and surgical terminology, infection control, human anatomy, and physiology. They will also possess excellent communication skills and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Decontaminate and clean medical instruments and equipment
- Select the correct sterilizing medium and cycles for each item
- Operate and monitor sterilizers, including steam, hydrogen peroxide gas plasma, and high-level disinfecting units
- Assemble and prepare sterile instrument trays and sets
- Inspect and test instruments for damage and functionality
Required Qualifications:
- Thorough knowledge of medical and surgical terminology, infection control, human anatomy, and physiology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of microbiology and its application to medical supply operations
