About the Role:
We’re hiring a Part-Time Social Media & Marketing Assistant to help grow our digital presence and support our marketing efforts. This role is perfect for someone who’s creative, loves storytelling, and understands how to make content connect with an audience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, create, and schedule engaging social media content across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook)
- Write compelling captions, choose effective hashtags, and stay on top of trends and audio
- Maintain and organize a content calendar
- Source and curate photo and video content from past events
- Assist with basic graphic design using Canva
- Update website content, blog posts, and image galleries (training provided)
- Help brainstorm creative campaigns and reels
- Manage email and text marketing campaigns
- Monitor analytics and suggest ways to boost engagement and reach
Ideal Candidate Has:
- A passion for weddings, events, music, or creative industries
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and what content works
- Good writing and communication skills
- Experience with content scheduling tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite)
- Basic Canva or graphic design knowledge
- Self-starter mindset with attention to detail
- Organized, consistent, and responsive
Bonus Skills (Not Required):
- Experience with TikTok trends and short-form video creation
- Creative background
- SEO/blog writing experience
- Email marketing experience (like Flodesk)
- Familiarity with Squarespace
