What are the responsibilities and job description for the Temporary Science Instructor position at Loyola Academy?
- Creating lesson plans; preparing & delivering instruction; creating and supervising laboratory activities
- Evaluating student performance
- Participation in campus events
- Modeling the “Graduate at Graduation” qualities
- Maintaining proper records and communication with parents and school officials
- Working collaboratively with the department in the development of an academically challenging curriculum
- Work with a wide range of learners
- Other responsibilities as assigned
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Prior experience teaching High School science
- Knowledge and/or experience with NGSS lesson plans and AMTA modeling curriculum
- Prior demonstrated commitment to Jesuit education
- Master’s Degree
- Teacher Certification
