What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Faculty– Sociology position at Loyola Marymount University?
The department of Sociology is hiring part-time lecturers for courses in Principles of Sociology, Quantitative or Qualitative Research Methods, Sociological Theory, and Upper Division thematic sociology courses.
Other responsibilities include meeting with students one-on-one in office hours, assessing all student work, attending training and faculty development events, and submitting final grades to the Registrar’s office.
A PhD is preferred, but candidates with a master’s degree will be considered.
