Position Specific Responsibilities/Accountabilities
Gather and compile data on recent national elections
Data collection and entry
Data cleaning and scoring
Perform comprehensive literature reviews and contribute to the preparation of peer-reviewed manuscripts, grants, and reports.
Assist and perform statistical analysis and evaluation of research results.
Assisting on the production of scholarly articles and manuscripts
Perform other duties as assigned or requested

Requisite Qualifications
Typically, a B.A. or Master's degree in political science is required. Candidate will be expected to continue upgrading knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to keep abreast of regulation/policy changes.
Minimum 1 year's research experience with a strong understanding and verifiable application of research methods.
Demonstrated computer competency and some knowledge of SPSS and EXCEL for statistical analyses.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively.

$21.68 - $26.01 Salary commensurate with education and experience.
