Description:
Loyola Medicine, treating the whole person with compassion—to "also treat the human spirit." The Central Sterile Processing Department seeks a Sterile Processing Tech I Registry to decontaminate instruments, assembles trays and/or equipment, and sterilizes instrument trays for prescribed patient procedures.
Hours: 3:00pm - 11:00pm
Must be available Monday - Friday including weekends and holidays depending on department needs.
Minimum 8 hours per pay period.
The Certified Sterile Processing Tech will decontaminate instruments, assembles trays and/or equipment, and sterilizes instrument trays for prescribed patient procedures. Assembles case carts for specific surgical procedures.
High School Diploma Preferred: High School Diploma plus training acquired through work experience or education. Certification required: CRCST or IAHCSMM
Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
