This Medical Assistant role plays a vital part in our ambulatory care team. Key responsibilities include providing direct patient care, handling patient registration, scheduling appointments, and performing various office-related tasks.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a High School Diploma or GED, BLS CPR certification from the American Heart Association, and either completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or one year of Medical Assistant work experience. Additionally, you must obtain at least one of the following Medical Assistant credentials within 6 months of hire date: American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), American Medical Technologists (AMT), National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), or National Healthcareer Association (NHA).
