About the Role
The selected candidate will provide advanced behavioral health knowledge and skills, including direct and indirect assessment and care to patients and families, crisis intervention, support group facilitation, and behavioral health education and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Assessment & Referral - Intake - ER
- Provides psychiatric and substance use assessments, crisis intervention, and consultation to Emergency Department and medical floor patients.
- Responds to behavioral health crises via phone and in-person.
- Determines appropriate level of care through assessment and facilitates admissions or outpatient referrals.
- Completes eligibility/benefit verifications and insurance pre-authorizations.
- Collaborates with nursing staff regarding patients' medical needs and placement on inpatient psychiatric units.

Requirements
- Required: Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Master's Degree and full clinical license two years post Master's.
Compensation
$30.00 - $41.59 per hour. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
