- Provide psychiatric and substance use assessments to patients in the Emergency Department and nursing units.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to address patients' complex needs.
- Work collaboratively with on-call psychiatrists to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Facilitate admissions to psychiatric treatment or provide outpatient referrals as needed.
- Ensure timely completion of eligibility/benefit verifications and insurance pre-authorizations.
- Cultivate strong relationships with nursing staff to optimize patient care outcomes.
