A Part-Time 12 Hour Night Shift Position at Gottlieb Hospital's 3 West Medical Surgical/Observation Unit
Description:
This role involves providing direct patient care and assisting the unit manager, professional staff, and physicians in delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet the comfort and hygiene needs of patients
- Assist with completion of patient testing and treatment procedures
- Set up and prime IV tubing, ECG, and other equipment
- Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation and obtain wound cultures
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to regulatory requirements
- Promote quality and cost outcomes by utilizing time and resources efficiently
Requirements:
- Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Preferred: High School Diploma plus training acquired through work experience or education
- Minimum Experience: Less than one year of previous job-related experience
- Preferred: 1-2 years of previous job-related experience
- Licensure/Certifications: Certified Nurse Assistant, BLS (Basic Life Support) through AHA
- Other: Completion of a Nursing Assistant Program or verification of an equal or higher educational level in a clinically focused program
