Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team at the Loyola Outpatient Center. As an essential member of our ultrasound department, you will be responsible for performing and interpreting ultrasonic scans in accordance with department protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough ultrasonic examinations using high-frequency sound waves and other diagnostic techniques.
- Evaluate and interpret ultrasound images and related data to ensure accurate medical diagnoses.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ultrasonic procedures and technologies to provide exceptional patient care.
Requirements
- A minimum of an Associate Degree from an accredited two-year Ultrasound Program or equivalent training acquired via work experience.
- CPR certification from the American Heart Association and registration as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with specialization in Abdomen, Ob/Gyn, or PS.
- New graduates must obtain certification within 3 months of hire.
