- Event planning, production, and management for internal and external SMTP events (Concerts on/off campus, recruitment events, donor events, etc.).
- Create promotional materials for internal and external-facing SMTP events (Social media, monitor graphics, concert programs, etc.) .
- Maintenance of advertising spaces: Loyola Presents website, SMTP newsletter, community partner spaces, and additional physical/print/digital spaces .
- Manage Ticketing & Box Office o Schedule, coordinate, and train student workers for all events, both open to the public and ticketed. o Work with ticketing platform to process and track revenue, issue refunds, and maintain petty cash .
- Assist with welcoming tours, clinics, and recruitment events as needed.
- Degree: Bachelor's degree (preferred: Hospitality, Event Management/Business)
- Minimum 3 years of experience demonstrated track record of organizing and managing events of various sizes and types (corporate, private, high-touch clientele, or nonprofit) as well as experience in administrative/clerical support and experience working in a professional office environment.
- Project Management Skills: Ability to manage timelines, budgets, and multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creative Vision: Ability to work with SMTP Director and campus stakeholders to conceptualize event themes, designs, and layouts to align with goals and branding.
- Tech & Visual Design Skills: Understanding of the Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign), Canvas, and other basic marketing tools for event purposes.
- Understanding of concert programming needs across all genres such as classical, jazz, commercial, etc.
- Problem-Solving Abilities and Self-Sufficiency: Ability to take initiative, work independently, understand university culture, and has a strong aptitude for handling unexpected challenges or emergencies with professionalism.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional organizational skills to manage all event components seamlessly, eye for copy-editing and other detail precision.
- Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Experience in sourcing, negotiating, and coordinating with vendors, sponsors, and key stakeholders.
- Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Effective written and verbal communication, as this position works closely with visiting artists, educational partners, Loyola faculty and staff,, and will manage student workers.
