What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grant Project Coordinator position at Loyola University - New Orleans?
The Grant Project Coordinator is responsible for overseeing grant funded projects and performing administrative duties to support program operations for the Loyola Institute for Ministry
- Monitor grant project performance and ensure milestones and deliverables are met in a timely manner and within budget. Track expenses and revenue
- Provide administrative support to the Director of the Loyola Institute for Ministry
- Maintain administrative records related to grant program program participants, and LIM.
- Support the processing of department and grant program purchasing and payments
- Perform administrative tasks as needed, such as scheduling meetings, event planning logistics, composing correspondence, answering phones, documentation filing/storage, supply inventory, etc.
- Consult with grant project directors on project implementation, offer input for project consultants and other LIM faculty and staff
- Assist with grant reports
- Assist in coordinating logistics for local and online events
- Attend department and college meetings and take minutes as needed
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties for LIM as assigned
- Promote positive and professional work environment
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree
- High level computer skills, including proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet software, database software, and experience with learning system platforms (e.g., Blackboard, WebCT, Moodle). Willingness to learn LORA systems.
- Minimum of one year prior administrative experience, preferably in an administrative setting.
- Ability to work with office machines (e.g., printers, scanners, etc.).
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks
- Ability to handle detail work with a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to coordinate work, organize time, and work in self-directed manner
- Excellent communication skills, written and oral
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work under deadlines.
- Ability to prioritize, work promptly, reliably, responsibly and independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding student records and other matters
- Familiarity with Roman Catholicism preferred
- Previous experience in pastoral ministry or equivalent
