The Loyola University Chicago Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing (MNSON) invites applications for a clinical track faculty position focused on teaching, curricular development, and integration of simulation pedagogy. This is a 12-month non-tenure track open rank position for appointment at the Instructor rank or higher based on the applicant's education, program of scholarship, and teaching experience.
Within the context of the Loyola University Chicago and MNSON missions, visions, values, and strategic initiatives, the faculty member will :
- Use high, medium, and low-fidelity simulation modalities to provide high-quality learning experiences to pre-licensure and advanced practice nursing students. Primary responsibilities include developing, organizing, facilitating, and evaluating simulation learning experiences and programs.
- Collaborate with faculty on curriculum and course planning, improvement, and evaluation.
- Develop and disseminate scholarship that advances nursing practice and education.
- Engage in service activities consistent with the mission and strategic vision of the MNSON, University, and nursing profession.
- Contribute to the MNSON and University goals for inclusive excellence and antiracism.

Additional Salary Information
This salary range is for a twelve-month academic appointment. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on a range of factors including, but not limited to, the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate including years since terminal degree; training; field or discipline; budget availability; internal equity; and external market pay for comparable jobs.
