Duties and Responsibilities

The Research Assistant III - Knight Lab Position supports :

• Research projects by performing straightforward Lab assays and analysis.
• Carry out experiments as instructed by Principal Investigator (PI).
• Assists PI, Research Staff, and Students with various Lab procedures and projects. Performance of experiments requires familiarity with basic methods in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology and Molecular Biology.
• Generates reports on experimental data obtained.
• Organizes, curates, and updates data bases of the acquired information and the corresponding analyses.
• Maintains orderly records.
• Maintains a safe and orderly working environment.
• Ensures compliance with safety regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education and / or Work Experience

Bachelor's Degree in a related field and one to two years of related experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biomedical Sciences or related fields. Prior Lab experience.

Basic computer skills.
