Position Summary

Essential Job Functions

- Responsible for the successful completion of small to medium-sized projects of medium complexity with less clearly defined goals/scope and concise project progress reports.
- Work from sales requests, customer quote requests, Product Change Requests (PCR’s), New Item Releases (NIR’s) for cost reduction or functional enhancements.
- Checks drawings developed and drawn by others in the form of PCR’s and NIR’s.
- With supervision, determines when samples may need to be fabricated to validate fit/function parameters and/or to send to customer for approval.
- Generate necessary shop drawings, assists and guides support personnel in design-related matters.
- Work with cross functional teams on cost estimating for quotes or to determine optimum design alternatives.
- Responsible for establishing installation instructions and identify safety-related issues including misuse of product (to ensure appropriate warnings are included).
- Demonstrate regular attendance and timeliness in reporting to work, meetings, and completing assignments.
- Ability to work and interact well with others.
- General industrial and manufacturing engineering functions as necessary.
