Education: Bachelor degree in Engineering or another related field is required. Mechanical Engineering preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 4 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment of which 1-2 years direct experience working with equipment reliability troubleshooting or projects.

Essential Job Functions

- Complete preventative and predictive maintenance analysis, recommendations, implementations and audits of critical equipment.
- Conduct routine engineering calculations and audit major equipment condition and adherence to process standards.
- Identify and reduce risk utilizing different analysis techniques (i.e. Preliminary Hazards Analysis, Criticality Analysis, Fault Tree Analysis, etc.).
- Develop and provide training and education to cross-functional teams, as needed, to support counter measures and mitigate risk or implement new processes and procedures.
- Propose new or revised manufacturing processes and testing specifications that utilize best practices and will increase reliability.
- Develop, improve and standardize equipment monitoring processes, to include data tracking and reporting of reliability metrics on critical equipment and processes.
- Assist in the development of preventative maintenance procedures and audit adherence to the program. This includes, but not limited to, task definition, spare part review, service equipment agreements.
- Participates in the final check out of new installations as necessary. This includes factory and site acceptance testing that will assure adherence to functional specifications.
- Apply general engineering knowledge to solve problems and provide direction and recommendations for prevention of catastrophic/major failures of critical equipment and processes.
- Primary focus will be on critical equipment needed to maintain high customer service levels and drive operational costs down.
- Liaise with relevant cross-functional teams on outcomes of tests, analysis, and solution implementation.
- Work closely with leadership in regard to budgets and finances, as it relates to maintenance, and make recommendations to help reduce operational costs.
- Demonstrate regular attendance and timeliness in reporting to work, meetings, and completing assignments.
- Ability to work and interact well with others.
