Private, well established Orthodontic office is seeking a talented orthodontic assistant to join our team! Must be in pursuit of a long-time career in orthodontics who enjoys working with a team and desires a positive upbeat work environment. Our office prides itself in providing quality orthodontic care in a comforting and positive environment. The candidate should be able to build effective working relationships with patients, parents and TEAM members. We need someone who can stay calm in a busy environment, someone who is detailed oriented and punctual. SOME DENTAL EXPERIENCE IS A MUST.

What You'll Do:
Assist in patient treatment from start to finish with individualized care and patience.
Assist doctor thoroughly and completely with orthodontic procedures with a high degree of professionalism and efficiency.
Focus on Invisalign treatment cases.
Delivering orthodontic instructions clearly and thoroughly with use of visual aids; dispensing of oral hygiene instructions.
Taking patient records of the highest quality.
Recording careful and thorough notes in electronic chart.
Ability to take panoramic x-ray, intra/extra oral photos, and digital scans.
Prepares all treatment chairs including, but not limited to, set-up, de- contamination, sterilization of all instruments, cleaning, and restocking.
Excellent communication skills
Qualifications:
People-oriented - enjoys interacting with kids, their parents, and adult patients.
Detail-oriented
Certified Dental Assistant is a plus, but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.30 - $24.03 per hour
