This position will support our Safety team as a Summer Intern from May 2025 – August 2025, and will be based in Clarke County, AL. This is a paid, full-time Internship. Our interns will gain insight and exposure to our Oriented Strand Board (OSB) manufacturing facilities along with the dynamic safety role of a plant safety professional.

In This Position You Will Have The Opportunity To
- Interact with experienced EHS and manufacturing professionals to understand the day-to-day working environmental of an operating facility.
- Participate in incident investigations, safety inspections, training development.
- Develop and enhance safety programs and procedures.
- Work on significant projects that drive an injury-free culture.
- Exposure to Serious Injury & Fatality (SIF) program.
- Intern will report to the Plant Safety Manager and will have exposure to other safety professionals and interns in the company.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Strong organizational skills
- Interpersonal and communication skills
- Time management skills
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program, preferably in (safety or environmental related field)
- This position will work onsite at a manufacturing facility.
