Job Purpose
Support the daily shipping and receiving operations at LP Watkins, MN Monday - Friday.
This position will be expected to cover the department betweend the hours of 8:30AM to 4:30PM, and may include additional hours to meet buisness needs.

Shipping/Receiving Roles And Responsibilities
In this position you will have the opportunity to:
- Load and unload product from trucks and railcars by following safety guidelines
- Verify product and number of units are placed in the correct location according to pick sheet information.
- Ensure production line has appropriate amount of product to operate successfully
- Verify incoming materials are accurate
- Utilize SAP inventory information systems to ensure finish goods are accurately counted in the system
- Verify information entered in SAP/Ariba information systems accurately match the Bill Of Lading
- Administer and organize receiving documentation, including Certificates of Analysis
- Verify product unit stamps accurately match the unit tag sheets
- Count units to ensure accuracy of pieces according to the unit tag sheet prior to preparation
- Grind, band, and inspect product units safely and follow all safety guidelines
- Inspect grinding tools for safety and replace tools when necessary
- Ensure unit documentation matches tags and sheets
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Knowledge and experience operating a forklift
- Knowledge of general equipment maintenance
- Time management skills
- Demonstrated mechanical ability
- Ability to read and understand safety rules and regulations in the English language is required
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred
- 1 – 2 years of experience operating a forklift is preferred
- Equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position.
- Shipping or receiving department experience preferred
- Plant environment.
