The Position
Our validated producers, as licensed representatives, are responsible for producing new business by soliciting, negotiating, and selling insurance policies according to the needs and requirements of the client. There is no shortage of opportunity!

The Job:
- Produce revenue through solicitation and selling insurance and related products to clients
- Manage schedules and set appointments with prospective clients to discuss and handle insurance needs using independent judgement and discretion
- Seek out new business opportunities by adding new lines of coverage or limits to existing clients, cross selling to other departments, and seeking referrals..
- Foster strong relationships with clients, underwriters, and carrier representatives; and develop knowledge of carrier and underwriter administrative guidelines including online rating programs
- Coordinate with Account Executives and Account Managers to provide assistance in determining proper coverages
- Attend networking and community events in order to build relationships and create leads/referral sources
- May coach and mentor Associate Producers and less experienced members of the department
- Provide excellent customer service
Qualifications Needed:
- Knowledge of Commercial Lines insurance and products
- Skilled in negotiation, communication, organizational and customer services
- Prior sales experience required
- College degree preferred
- Property & Casualty license required
- Minimum of 2 years of related insurance sales experience
